At Lygon Family Dental, we love welcoming all new patients to our beautifully designed, modern practice located on the busy Lygon Street in Brunswick East.

Our friendly and professional team are here to assist you in any way required. To make your visit a comfortable, positive and a stress-free experience whilst in our care.

Our team will be here to help answer any of your queries about your visit. We request you to please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment, to allow for time to fill out a medical history form. This information will assist our dental team with your important relevant information. Remember to bring your health fund card (physical or digital card) and MEDICARE card to your visit.

Your first appointment may take around 40 – 45 minutes. During your appointment, you will be greeted by your dentist, where all your concerns will be discussed carefully. Your dentist will run through your full history and get an understanding of your dental issues. During this time, a full oral examination will take place to assess your mouth, gums and teeth for any signs of concern. Your dentist may recommend taking x-rays of your teeth/mouth and may take some photographs and moulds of your teeth on some occasions where necessary.

This will be followed by a discussion of your treatment options and full estimates of the cost of treatment. We do offer IN-HOUSE NO-INTEREST flexible payment plans for LARGER TREATMENTS and INVISALIGN to make our services accessible for all patients.

We understand that you may be feeling nervous or anxious about your first visit. Please make this known to our friendly reception team if you are feeling anxious when booking your appointment.
